Hyundai Exter interior:  similar yet unique looks

Leaked images also give us some details about the features and equipment that will be seen on the Exter.  As mentioned earlier, the complete dashboard design and steering wheel are same as the Nios and Aura but in black shade. The steering gets control for audio and telephony and also gets leather wrapped finish for higher variants. The instrument cluster is all digital, atleast for the higher variants, which is similar to the one seen on the Verna and the i20. The digital instrument cluster will support multiple languages including Hindi and Marathi as seen in the picture.  There is a subtle dose of brushed aluminum finish on the interior.

The touchscreen is same as its siblings and also features multiple buttons and knobs, which is usually appreciated by customers.  Higher variants will get automatic climate control, and voice commands among other features. There will be a sunroof on offer as well.

Hyundai Exter: powertrain details

The Exter will be available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine as well as a CNG variant. On the petrol, you may choose between a five-speed manual or an AMT automatic transmission, while the CNG only comes with a manual gearbox.

Hyundai Exter rivals
