Ginger Ale Ingredients

Fresh Ginger – It adds a natural spiciness and warmth to the drink. Try to choose fresh young ginger which has more flavour. Make sure to wash ginger really well to remove dirt from it. Peeling ginger with a spoon makes the job easier.

Sugar – It balances the spiciness of ginger and adds sweetness. For healthier option, you can use jaggery or honey. Maple syrup can be used too.

Lemon Juice – Enhances the flavor with a zesty touch. Also helps preserve the ginger ale syrup. The tangy taste enhances the ginger flavour.

Soda Water or Cold Water – Gives the drink its fizz and volume. For lighter beverage you can use water.
