Global hospitality leader Hilton has announced the signing of its flagship Hilton brand in Gurugram, a key city in India’s National Capital Region (NCR). The new hotel, Hilton Gurugram Baani City Center, is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2024, marking Hilton’s 27th hotel in India and its second collaboration with the Baani Group.
This strategic development underscores Hilton’s commitment to expanding its presence in important gateway cities across India. Gurugram, with a population of 1.5 million, is a pivotal hub within NCR, known for its IT and financial sectors.
Hilton Gurugram Baani City Center will be strategically located along Golf Course Extension Road, close to key business districts, entertainment centers, and upscale residential and commercial areas. This prime location ensures the hotel will cater to both business and leisure travelers, enhancing Gurugram’s vibrant ecosystem.

The Baani Group, which already owns DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon Baani Square, continues its successful collaboration with Hilton. The hotel will also offer over 15,000 sq ft of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) space, making it ideal for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. Guests will enjoy four dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a sophisticated lobby bar, and an elegant café lounge. Additional amenities include an outdoor pool, and well-equipped business and fitness centers.
Expanding footprint in India
With 26 operating hotels in India and 22 more in the pipeline, Hilton is poised to triple its presence in the country to 75 hotels in the coming years. This robust growth highlights Hilton’s commitment to becoming a dominant player in the dynamic Indian hospitality market.
