Hilite Mall launches Fashion Week 2023 in Calicut

Calicut’s Hilite Mall launched ‘Hilite Mall Fashion Week 2023’ with a music concert on the evening of June 16. The event is open to the public, will feature runway shows and collection launches in the mall, and will run until June 18. 

Gowry Lekshmi Band kicked off the fashion event with a performance on Friday night, Hilite Mall announced on Facebook. The fashion show will run over the weekend and will showcase goods from brands which retail from the mall. By organising engaging events in malls, operators aim to provide shoppers with experiences which cannot be replicated with online retail and give shoppers a reason to venture out to malls. 
 
Hilite Mall features clothing brands including Van Heusen, Jack and Jones, Biba, Being Human, Easy Buy, American Eagle, and Merida as well as jewellery and accessories brands including Zavodila, Titan, Sunglass Bae, My Op, Language, Fast Track, and Miniso among others. 

“The premier fashion event in the city is back,” announced Hilite Mall on its website. The fashion week is designed to give brands a platform from which to showcase their latest creations and drive footfall in the mall while promoting it as a vibrant destination for fashion. 
 
The mall held its previous edition of Hilite Fashion Week in May, 2022, the business announced on Instagram. The event featured Govind Padmasoorya, Poonam Bajwa, and Neeta Pillai as celebrity guests and showstoppers along with Miss India World 2021 Manasa Varanasi. Hair, skin, and grooming was managed by L’or and Manickath Fashion Events took part in its organisation.
