Reminiscing the same, the actor revealed that she spent three sleepless nights owing to her hectic schedule. “4 yrs of #Roohi and my first solo dance number. I was such a kid. So nervous about this song. Hadn’t even learnt how to keep my eyes open without squinting under harsh lights. Rehearsed for three days between Goodluck Jerry’s shoot, shot in Patiala all night for GLJ, flew out post pack up in the morning, shot Nadiyon Paar that night and finished the song in seven hours with no sleep and flew back immediately to resume Jerry that day,” she wrote on Instagram.

She added that she did a “three-day no-sleep marathon ” because she was extremely excited to be in front of the camera.

Dr Manjusha Agarwal, senior consultant in internal medicine at Gleneagles Hospital Parel Mumbai, stressed that if you do not sleep straight for three days or more, it is more likely to affect your overall health.

“Sleep plays a crucial role when it comes to your physical health and mental well-being. Lack of sleep can make you feel irritated, cranky, moody, frustrated, agitated, and stressed. When you do not get enough sleep, it may also affect your entire day and work,” explained Dr Agarwal.

She listed the symptoms: “At first, you may feel extremely tired, irritable, and unable to focus. As time passes, your brain may struggle to function properly or even perform daily tasks. Your body may react negatively to this by weakening your immune system, which can heighten your risk of falling sick,” said Dr Agarwal.

According to the expert, there are high chances of your heart rate and blood pressure dramatically rising, which can be an invitation to several heart-related problems.

“This is why it becomes crucial to take utmost care of your health by prioritising your sleep, noted Dr Agarwal.

One should aim for at least 7 to 8 hours of sound sleep.

“Avoid using digital screens like mobile or laptop before falling asleep for better sleep. If you cannot sleep or experience difficulty sleeping, you should consider consulting a doctor. They can assess your overall health and recommend medications or lifestyle adjustments accordingly,” shared Dr Agarwal.
