The Class 12 English paper of the Haryana School Education Board was leaked on Thursday from an exam centre in Tapkan village in Haryana’s Nuh district. Three students and two supervisors have been arrested in connection with the leak, accused of taking photos of the paper with mobile phones.
According to the Nuh Sadar police, the class 12 English exam for the Haryana Education Board was held at the Government Senior Secondary School in Tapkan village. The centre in charge, Sanjeev Kumar, filed a complaint with the police, stating that supervisors Rukmuddin and Shaukat, posted in rooms 5 and 6, were asked several times to close the windows, but they left them open. Each room had 24 students. Around 2:30 PM, unknown individuals reportedly entered the rooms, took photos of the question paper, and sent them outside.
The investigation revealed that different sets of question papers for students Monis and Nafees in room 6 and Mustakeem in room 5 were leaked. The centre supervisor claimed that the two supervisors, along with the students, conspired to send the question papers to unknown persons, violating the Haryana Examination Act.
The Nuh Sadar police have filed a case and arrested the accused individuals. Three have been taken into custody and will be presented in court on Friday. The search for the other suspects continues. Additionally, videos have emerged showing students climbing walls outside schools to cheat during exams.
