Gadar 2 Box Office: Film enters the Rs. 400 Crore Club; emerges as the second all-time fastest Rs. 400 cr grosser :Bollywood Box Office


The recently released Sunny Deol – Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 which takes the story of the 2001 film Gadar – Ek Prem Katha forward has been doing roaring business. Since its release on August 11, the Anil Sharma directorial, which received rave reviews and highly positive audience feedback, has seen, its collections not only sail past the Rs. 100 cr mark, but also blew past the Rs. 200 cr and Rs. 300 cr mark. Now, after just 12 days in theatres Gadar 2 has managed to set up yet another record.

Collecting Rs. 400.70 cr Gadar 2 has now managed to enter the highly exclusive Rs. 400 Crore Club. With this, the film has become the second release of 2023 after the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan that crossed the Rs. 400 cr mark in 11 days to enter the Rs. 400 Crore Club. If that was not enough, with Gadar 2 collecting Rs. 400.70 cr, the film has now emerged as the four film ever to achieve this feat, joining the likes of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion, and KGF – Chapter 2 in addition to Pathaan.

In fact, taking just 12 days after its release to enter the Rs. 400 Crore Club, Gadar 2 has also emerged as the second fastest Rs. 400 cr grosser, behind Pathaan. While on the other hand the film has managed to out, beat Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that took 18 days and KGF – Chapter 2 which took 23 days to cross Rs. 400 cr.

Currently, Gadar 2, which is on its second week in theatres, continues to enthral the masses. Given the craze for the film, trade predictions state that the business of Gadar 2 will continue to see growth over the coming weekdays.
