It is not often that a film’s sequel arrives more than two decades after the first film is released. In the case of Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2, which is the sequel to the 2001 historic blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, it really doesn’t matter as far as the excitement and anticipation for the film is concerned. This is reflected in the advance booking scenario for the Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma starrer, which has been phenomenal to say the least.
As per latest reports the came in today at 4:30 pm, Gadar 2 has sold as many as over 1,80,000 tickets for its first day itself in the major multiplexes of India. The figure is broken down as below:
PVR: 52,250
