The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is likely to release the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) December 2024 result today, January 27, 2025. Candidates who took the exam can access their FMGE scorecards through the official website at natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in, using their login credentials, once out.

The FMGE December 2024 exam was held on January 12, 2025. The candidate’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, rank, and other details will be available in the PDF of FMGE December Scorecard 2024. Candidates who pass the exam will be given a passing certificate. Only after this, will they be eligible to practice medicine in India.

FMGE December 2024 Result: How To Download?

Step 1: Open the official website: natboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Click on the FMGE result notification link under the notification section.

Step 3: Select the FMGE December 2024 result option.

Step 4: A PDF file will open on the screen containing the roll number and application ID of the candidates along with the marks they obtained out of 300.

Step 5: Check for your roll number and marks.

Step 6: Download and keep a printout of the file for future reference.

The December session exam was a computer-based test, featuring a total of 300 multiple-choice questions. The exam is split into two parts, and students have 150 minutes for each part, with a break in between. Candidates must note that there is no negative marking in the FMGE exam. To pass, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 50 per cent.

“Issuance of FMGE Pass Certificate by NBEMS alone does not confer any right in favour of the candidate to seek registration with a medical council in India. The eligibility for seeking provisional/permanent registration with a medical council as a medical practitioner in India shall be determined by the medical council concerned after due verifications of the indicative documents…,” reads the official notice.
