E-commerce marketplace Flipkart will host its first-ever on-ground ‘Glam Up Fest’ in the city of Mumbai on June 16 alongside its online sale event.

The fest will see participation by beauty, grooming brands, celebrities, and around 300 influencers. It will have experiential zones featuring brands such as MyGlamm, L’Oréal, MamaEarth, Nivea, Minimalist, Lakmé, Brut and Beardo, among others.

Flipkart’s online ‘Glam Up’ sale event will be live from June 16 – June 18 on its app that will have over 40 brands offering a wide selection of beauty and personal care products.

Commenting on the Glam Up event, Kanchan Mishra, senior director at Flipkart in a statement said, “We at Flipkart are thrilled to host the Flipkart Glam Up Fest and kick-off the sale on the app. With multiple brand launches, insightful panel discussions, immersive brand experience, and exciting collaborations, this fest is set to be an exciting addition to the country’s contemporary beauty landscape.”

With this sale event, Flipkart aims to strengthen its connect with beauty enthusiasts from across the country. The sales will offer technology-led features such as image search, video catalogue, virtual try-ons, video commerce and top filters to boost shopper engagement.
