The Fern Hotels and Resorts has announced the promotion of Kartikeshwar Panda as the General Manager of The Fern Gir Forest Resort, Gir. Having joined the resort as a Sous Chef in 2011, Kartik has demonstrated his culinary expertise and unwavering dedication, according to the hospitality group.
Originating from Odisha and equipped with a degree in hotel management from IHM Bhubaneswar, Panda embarked on his hospitality career in 2005. Prior to his promotion, he gained experience at Hotel Hindustan International (HHI), honing his skills in the industry.
‘Driven by passion, self-motivation, and a results-oriented mindset,’ , as Fern describes him, Kartik leads by example. He has expertise in making sound decisions, boosting guest satisfaction, fostering employee engagement, and cultivating leadership qualities.
Throughout his 11-year tenure at Fern Sasan Gir, he played a crucial role in propelling business growth in the Gir. He prioritises streamlining operations and enriching guest experiences through efficient processes.
