The 18th season of the biggest franchise cricket tournament Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently on in the country. Like its previous 17 editions, this one too has ensured that the fever of cricket is gripped amongst the cricket lovers around the world. A lot of Indian film celebrities too are highly interested in the IPL.

One among them is Saiyami Kher. The actress not only takes a keen interest in cricket but she is also the presenter for a cricket show on a digital platform, along with some greats of the game.
During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Saiyami was asked how is she finding the current season of IPL. She said, “Oh, I’m loving it! There’s something about the IPL — the madness, the rivalries, the last-over thrillers that just brings out the cricket nerd in me.”
When asked which are the teams she feels can make it big this season, the actress said, “I think Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will make it to the play offs (top four).”
On the work front, Saiyami will be seen in an out-and-out action masala film Jaat, which is all set to release on Thursday April 10. She will be donning the role of a tough cop in the movie that stars Sunny Deol in the lead. “It’s the most commercial film I have been a part of and was definitely out of my comfort zone. So, there was lots of learning. You learn so much out of your comfort,” she said.
