This collaboration is part of the government’s thrust on promoting new manufacturing entrepreneurs in the country. Through its extensive experience, the private firm, the largest manufacturer of apparel, will support upcoming startups by providing access to market insights. The firm will facilitate them to create a holistic understanding of the workings of foreign markets, along with guidance on operational knowledge throughout the startup lifecycle, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a press release.
DPIIT and Bhaane Group have signed an MoU to launch incubation programmes for manufacturing startups, fostering ties with international ecosystems.
Shahi Exports’ subsidiary will offer market insights and operational guidance.
The initiative aims to boost Indian manufacturing entrepreneurs.

By facilitating connections between startups and established players like Bhaane Group, we foster a mutually beneficial environment where innovation flourishes and Indian businesses achieve global success,” said Sanjiv Singh, joint secretary at DPIIT.
