NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi has commenced the registration process for its newly introduced BTech programs. Prospective students interested in admission can register themselves on the official website engineering.uod.ac.in. The three BTech programs offered by DU are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The registration deadline is set for July 25, with the cutoff time at 11:59 pm.
During the registration process, candidates are required to pay a one-time non-refundable registration-cum-allocation fee. The fee is Rs 1500 for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates and Rs 1200 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
To register, candidates must provide their JEE (Main)-2023 application number, name (as it appears in JEE (Main)), and date of birth. Upon successful registration, candidates will access their dashboard to submit personal details, academic information, and program preferences. The allocation of seats will be based on the submitted preference order.
Admission to the BTech programs will consider the scores obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). In addition to JEE Main scores, candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each BTech program has 120 available seats.
The University of Delhi also offers a financial support scheme for students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). This initiative aims to ensure equitable access to quality education and opportunities.
Aspiring engineering students seeking admission to the University of Delhi’s BTech programs should carefully follow the registration process and meet the eligibility criteria.
