Since Lord Hanuman was born in the early morning, devotees start their day early in the morning with a holy bath, followed by the rituals that must be performed before dawn.
This year, Hanuman Jayanti will be observed on April 12, 2025, and according to Drik Panchang, the Chaitra Purnima Tithi will start at 3:21 AM on April 12 and conclude at 5:51 AM on April 13.
People begin by waking up early, taking a bath, and offering special prayers at home or in temples. Set up an idol or picture of Lord Hanuman on a clean platform or altar, and give him a ceremonial bath using holy Ganga water.
Devotees should also offer sindoor (vermilion) and jasmine oil, in addition to presenting flowers, fruits, and sweets as offerings and also recite the Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan, and Hanuman Ashtak with devotion.
