The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the window to raise objections to the provisional answer key of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 today, December 5, 2025. The answer key can be challenged by visiting the official website at ctet.nic.in. Candidates will need to enter their roll number and date of birth to access the answer key. It was issued on January 1.

Candidates must note that a fee of Rs 1000 will be charged for each challenge. A team of experts will examine these objections. If any error is found in the answer key, necessary corrections will be made and the respective fee will be refunded. After examining and resolving all the objections, the board will release the final answer key and declare the result of the CTET exam based on it. The exact result date and time are yet to be announced by CBSE.

Furthermore, using the CTET answer key and OMR sheet, candidates can estimate their probable score. To do so, they must know the marking scheme.

There is no negative marking, and each right answer is worth one mark.

Step 2 — Click on the link “Provisional Answer Key” given on the home page.

Step 3 — Login using your roll number and date of birth.

Step 4 — Download the answer key and check it carefully.

Step 2 — Upload substantial documents.

Step 3 — Pay the objection fee.

Step 4 — Submit. Download and save the acknowledgment page for further use.

The CTET December 2024 exam was conducted on December 14. Paper II was held in the morning shift from 9.30 am to noon and Paper I was held in the evening shift from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Paper I is for candidates who want to teach Classes I through V, while Paper II is for applicants who want to teach Classes VI through VIII.
