CTET 2024 answer key: Passing criteria and weightage
To qualify for the CTET, candidates must secure at least 60% marks. School authorities, including government, local bodies, aided, and unaided institutions, may offer relaxation to candidates from SC/ST, OBC, or differently-abled categories in accordance with their respective reservation policies.
While CTET scores are a crucial component of the teacher recruitment process, they do not guarantee employment. The certification simply fulfills one of the eligibility requirements for appointment.
If subject experts identify errors in the answer key based on a candidate’s challenge, the CBSE will take corrective action and announce a policy decision. In such cases, the challenge fee will be refunded to the candidate.
