Conor McGregor revealed that he is part of an agreement with India’s Ambani Family for an exhibition boxing match against American influencer-cum-fighter Logan Paul in a social media post on Tuesday.

The Irishman took to his X, formerly Twitter, account to rubbish claims of a bout with Georgian-Spanish fighter Ilia Topuria, following the featherweight champion called McGregor out following his title win over Alexander Volkanovski.

McGregor posted an update on his handle to clear speculations of a fight against Topuria and clarified the preliminary consensus over the high-profile encounter in India.

“The rumours of a bout with Topurio are false,” McGregor’s post began.

“I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed,” the Irishman added.

“I will then seek my return to the Octagon,” McGregor continued.

McGregor has not been in any bout since he sustained an injury to his leg during his fight against Dustin Poirier in the year 2021.

The 36-year-old was slated to face UFC star Michael Chandler in June but pulled out of the contest due to an injury in his foot.
