Citroen Basalt: interior, features

Citroen’s latest set of teasers reveal that the Basalt will borrow the C3 Aircross’ cabin, including the 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, the cube-shaped AC vents below the infotainment screen and the leatherette seats. However, the teasers have confirmed that the Basalt will get an automatic climate control system with new toggle switches for the HVAC controls unlike the rotary dials seen on the C3 Aircross

Further, the Basalt will also get a new, larger front armrest with storage space. The C3 Aircross gets an armrest for the driver only, with no storage option. The Basalt also comes with restyled, contoured rear headrests. Some of these features are also expected to trickle down to the C3 Aircross and C3 this year.
