Nagpur: Two late goals by JP Sahu helped CISF Delhi defeat Nagpur’s Rahul Club in the ninth edition of Haji Majid Ahmad Majju Seth All-India Gold Cup football tournament on Saturday. Sahu scored in the 72nd and 89th minute to knock Rahul Club out of the tournament.
In the other match, a league encounter, MEG Bangalore edged past MYJ Mumbai by a solitary goal scored by Ahmad Asrarul Haq.Making most of a pass from the right, Haq headed the ball into the net to take the Mumbai outfit home.
In Sunday’s league matches Tamil Nadu Police will face Young Muslim FC, Nagpur while Down Town Kashmir will be up against Rabbani Club, Kamptee.
