Chhaava scored well on Monday as Rs. 7.74 crores came in. The film has been enjoying strong Mondays ever since release and this one was no different. The drop from Fridays has been always less than 50% and this was the case on third Monday as well. The Friday gone by had seen Rs. 13.30 crores and anything in the range of Rs. 7-8 crores would have been good. This is what the film has scored which as well gives it a good platform to score during rest of the weekdays.
Last couple of weeks the film had continued to be very stable during the mid-week period due to partial holidays. This week there isn’t any such advantage which means the film will follow a regular trajectory and day on day drops can be expected. As long as they are on that 10% range, it would be fair enough. This also means that the weekday collections would stay around Rs. 25 crores zone and anything more than that would be an added advantage.
The Vicky Kaushal starrer had collected Rs. 479.30 crores now and going past Rs. 500 crores at the close of third week would be touch and go. If not on Thursday, then on Friday it will definitely enter Rs. 500 Crore Club which would be a huge feat indeed.
