Both players have lost their quuens. This is the 20th time that Praggnanandhaa is taking on Carlsen, with the latter holding a slight advantage in head-to-head. The 18-year-old became the youngest Indian finalist after beating Fabiano Caruana 3.5-2.5 in a semi-final decided by a single tiebreak win. The last Indian to reach the final was Viswanathan Anand, who is a two-time World Cup winner in 2000 and 2002.

Praggnanandhaa, who was born on August 10, 2005 in Chennai, defeated world No.3 Fabiano Caruana of the USA in the semi-final on Monday. The 18-year-old edged out Caruana following a 1-1 tie in their two-game classical series, to set up a captivating final against Carlsen. He is the first Indian in 21 years to reach the final of the Chess World Cup since Viswanathan Anand, who won the world title 2000 and 2002.

Chess World Cup Live: Tie-break scenario explained!
We might see two more games if two tie-break games do not find us a World Cup winner. However, they will be played in rapid format with a time control of 25 minutes for each player + 10 seconds increment per move, starting from the first move.
Two more rapid games will come in picture if the tie-break does not give us the winner, but this time with a time control of of 10 minutes for each player + 10 seconds increment per move, starting from 1st move.

Pragg and Carlsen will play two classice matches, first on Tuesday and the second on Wednesday.
The time limit for each game should be: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by another 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from first move.
