The BJP-led Centre’s political interference in education will not be forgiven, said School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi here on Monday. (March 10, 2025) He was reacting to Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan’s controversial remarks (since withdrawn) in the Parliamentary session.
In a post on X, he said: “We condemn the outrageous remarks of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Does he truly understand what he is saying or is he just repeating a script handed to him? Students and teachers will remember this betrayal.”
Alleging that the National Education Policy is not an education policy, but an RSS-driven agenda, he said Tamil Nadu rejected it. “Our MPs are fighting for education and the rights of our State. This fight will not stop until justice prevails,” he added.
