Central India College of Nursing celebrates National Youth Day

Nagpur: Central India College of Nursing, Lonara, organised a two programmes – first to celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day and second the death anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri. The programmes were graced by chief guest Anees Ahmad, ex-minister, along with esteemed guests architect Suresh Chinchghare and engineer Sanjay Ganoarkar.
Ahmed delivered impactful speeches. Addressing the gathering on Vivekananda’s life and teachings, Ahmed highlighted the importance of selfless service, compassion and empathy, which the Swami embodied. Speaking on the life and legacy of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, Ahmed exhorted the students to imbibe the values of simplicity, humility, and selfless service that Shastri exemplified.
Principal Dr Sumati Deodhar too addressed both the gatherings which were attended by students, faculty members, and other distinguish guests. The programmes were meticulously conducted by Rajani Wasnik and Charlotte Paul with the support of dedicated nursing staff.
