According to Dr. Bhardwaj, two days are very important for students: A day prior to the examination, and the day of the examination. Highlighting the need to ensure all exam-related documents are in order for the exam day, he said, “Before the examination begins, your first priority is to carefully check your admit card to ensure that all the information is correct. If you notice any discrepancies or issues with your admit card, address them promptly. It’s crucial to do this before the exam day. If you encounter any problems, contact your school immediately so they can inform the CBSE. The CBSE has provided multiple opportunities to correct any errors in the data.”

Dr. Bhardwaj further instructed students to ensure that they know the location of their examination centre, and reach the location well in advance, to mitigate traffic jams or other issues pertaining to the cold weather in the present winter months. “As we are still in February, so the weather is quite cold. Typically, from February to Holi, the weather remains either normal or cold. Given this, it is critical to visit your examination centre prior to the exam date. Familiarise yourself with the location so you can arrive on time for the exam. This is crucial. Plan your route ahead of time, taking into account factors such as traffic. This allows you to avoid last-minute confusion or arriving at the wrong school or examination centre. The key is to be on time and well-prepared.”
The exam day is an important moment in a student’s career. It is filled with excitement and nervous energy, the outcome of weeks or even months of dedicated preparation. Conducting oneself with the examination guidelines in order to have a smooth, trouble-free experience is an important factor in stress-free exam experience.
Dr. Bhardwaj advised students to bring only essential items to the examination hall, and keep themselves calm in order to perform well in the test. He said, “On the day of the examination, it’s crucial to ensure that you only bring items permitted by the CBSE. We allow only one plastic transparent pouch, in which you can carry your admit card, school-issued identity card, along with a few pens, pencils, erasers, and a scale. These are the only items permitted for the examination.”
He further added, “Water will be provided at the examination centre, and refrain from bringing mobile phones or any other communication devices. Students should adhere strictly to the school dress code- wear your school uniform on the day of the exam.”
