CBSE has opened the portal for schools to upload Class 12 practical/internal assessment marks from January 15 to February 14, 2025.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the portal for uploading marks for Practical, Project, and Internal Assessments for Class 12th conducted by affiliated schools. In the official notice, the CBSE announced that the portal was activated on January 15, 2025, and schools will be able to upload the marks of the students until February 15, 2025.

“The Board Examinations 2024-25 related activities are in full swing with most schools conducting the Practical/Project/Internal Assessment and uploading of marks for the same. In continuation of the same, the portal for uploading of Internal Grades will remain active w.e.f. 15th January, 2025 to 14th February, 2025 for Uploading the Internal Grades of Class – XII candidates, CBSE stated in the official notice.

The board has urged all the schools to carefully cross-check the data before uploading, ensuring the accuracy of the Internal Grades. It is important to note that once the marks or grades for Practical/Internal Assessments and Projects are uploaded, they will be final, and no corrections will be permitted thereafter. Schools are responsible for verifying that the grades are correct before submission. The Board emphasizes the need for meticulous attention to detail during this process to avoid any discrepancies.

The practical exams, project works and internal assessment for the 2024-25 academic session are being held from January 1, 2025 for all the CBSE-affiliated schools in India and abroad.

Meanwhile, CBSE has issued show-cause notices to 29 schools across various locations in India following surprise inspections conducted in December 2024. The inspections carried out on December 18 and 19, were aimed at assessing the schools’ compliance with CBSE’s affiliation rules and guidelines.

The schools in Delhi were inspected on December 18, while those in Bengaluru (Karnataka), Patna (Bihar), Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), and Ahmedabad (Gujarat) were examined the following day, December 19. After reviewing the reports from the inspection teams, CBSE found significant violations in many of the schools.
