For Fall/Winter 2024, Ackermann has drawn on his personal connection to the power of nature and reflects on feelings of tranquility and escape that only vast, extreme, beautiful landscapes can provide, equipping the wearer with a wardrobe to defy the elements, the company said in a press release.
Canada Goose has launched its first seasonal capsule collection by creative director Haider Ackermann for Fall/Winter 2024 under the heritage label, Snow Goose.
Inspired by nature, the collection blends the brand’s craftsmanship with fresh silhouettes, bold colors, and a focus on functionality.
He aims to revive the Snow Goose label with seasonal collections twice a year.
“Being surrounded by nature allows one to be connected with oneself – it reflects, it inspires, it provokes. It is in this rhythm and energy that we designed this capsule,” said Ackermann.
Ackermann has looked back into the brand’s nearly seven-decade archive to preserve the craftsmanship and functionality integral to Canada Goose, while pushing forward into new creative territories with fresh and youthful silhouettes and a bold colour palette.
Ackermann was announced as the brand’s first-ever creative director in May 2024. Ackermann’s seasonal collections will occur twice a year and live under the label, ‘Snow Goose by Canada Goose,’ reviving the heritage label under which the brand operated through the 1990s.
