Making cookies using brown butter is my new obsession. swapping brown butter for regular butter in cookies provides a delicious caramel nutty flavour to the cookies which cannot be expressed in words.
Here I have shared a simple cookies recipe which is very basic and it has brown butter substituted which adds a unique taste to the cookie. I prefer to use dark chocolate chips because of the good amount of sugar that goes in this cookies. Make sure you check out the tips and tricks mentioned in this recipe.

Brown butter is obsession. Heating butter on low heat on a heavy bottom pan for 6 to 10 mins until the milk solids toast and turn golden brown gives you pure gold which is called as brown butter. Brown butter is used in baking recipe to add nutty taste to the baked goods.
When using brown butter in your recipes, make sure you scrape out all the brown bits in the bottom of the pan to get maximum nutty taste. Brown butter can be used in any recipes as you like, specially on chocolate cookies.
Toasted brown butter is one of the essential component when making Turkish eggs too.

- When cooking butter, make sure you cook them on lowest heat as possible. So the butter doesn’t burn.
- When using brown butter in your recipes, make sure you scrape out all the brown bits in the bottom of the pan to get maximum nutty taste.
- Dark chocolate chips can be replaced with semi sweet chocolate chips too.
- Once the dough is done, you can place the dough in fridge so it firms. This way the cookie doesn’t spread too much.
- This cookie dough can be portioned onto some baking tray lined with parchment paper and frozen. Defrost it before baking.

1)Take butter in a sauce pan.
2)Melt it gently
