Brenntag & Capsoil ink deal for US distribution of novel powders

Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, announced a distribution agreement for the U.S. with Capsoil Technologies, an Israel-based technology company that transforms lipophilic and hydrophilic active ingredients into water-soluble powders using advanced patented technology.

Brenntag announced a US distribution deal with Capsoil Technologies, offering innovative water-soluble powders made from natural oils and active ingredients using Capsoil’s patented technology.
This enhances oil dispersion and skin absorption in personal care products.
Both companies aim to drive innovation in cosmetics while sharing ecological values.

Brenntag Specialties will now offer its customers an innovative product line comprising self-emulsified powders of natural oils together with liposomal powders of active ingredients, using Capsoil patented technologies. Capsoil’s special ingredients are highly loaded with oil (up 50%), delivering outstanding dispersion of oils in water preparations and significantly enhanced skin absorption.

Maia Navarrete, senior director Personal Care Americas at Brenntag Specialties, said: “This agreement with Capsoil is a testament to Brenntag Specialties’ commitment to sustainable and innovative technologies in the Beauty & Personal Care space and to expand our portfolio of innovative products for our customers. Capsoil’s technology allows our customers to deliver water-sensitive and difficult-to-stabilize oils and actives in a sugar-based powder that is easily dispersible into stable emulsions at the consumer level, making the impossible possible.”

Matthew Bronfman, CEO of Capsoil Global, added: “Capsoil’s technologies are built to disrupt the ways cosmetics are being formulated and perform. Our vision is to promote cosmetics product innovation to a new age through technology, globally. It is an honor to join forces with Brenntag to achieve these goals while embracing mutual ecological values.”
