BPSC 70th Prelims Re-Exam: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the dates for the Integrated 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Re-Examination for the exam conducted on December 13.
A meeting of the full bench of the Commission was held on Friday to discuss the matter, and it was decided to conduct the re-examination promptly in the interest of the candidates.
70th BPSC Prelims Re-Exam Date
According to the official notification, the commission will conduct the 70th BPSC Prelims re-exam on January 4, 2025, for the candidates who were earlier allotted the Bapu Parisar examination centre in Patna.
“A meeting of the full bench of the Commission was held on 19.12.2024 regarding the re-examination of the cancelled Integrated 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination, which was originally scheduled on 13.12.2024 (Friday) at the Bapu Examination Complex, Patna. Keeping in mind the interests of the candidates, the Commission decided to conduct the re-examination at the earliest. It is hereby informed that, as per the decision taken by the Commission, the re-examination for the cancelled exam at the Bapu Examination Complex has been scheduled for 04.01.2025 (Saturday),” reads the official notification.
Earlier this week, the commission cancelled the 70th BPSC Prelims exam for Bapu Parisar exam centre candidates after a ruckus created by a section of the candidates on December 13. An official on duty at the examination centre also died of a heart attack during the incident. The BPSC has ordered re-examination for nearly 6,500 candidates.
According to the official notification, the detailed information 70th BPSC Prelims re-exam for the Bapu Parisar Examination Centre, Patna candidates will soon be published on the Commission’s website -bpsc.bih.nic.in.
