BITS Design School (BITSDES) will close its application process for the 2025 intake of the 4-year Bachelor of Design (Honours) programme on January 31, 2025. This will be the second batch of the programme, which is part of BITS Pilani, a well-known private university in India.
BITSDES offers 180 seats in its B Des (Hons) programme, with five areas of focus: Physical Product Design, Digital Product Design (UX/UI), Design Research and Insights, Experience Design, and Visual Design.

Admission is based on scores from NID DAT Prelims, UCEED, or the BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT). Applicants using NID DAT Prelim or UCEED scores must submit their applications by January 31, using their registration or roll numbers. These applicants will be able to upload their scores from April 5 to 8, 2025.

BITSDAT, a 60-minute multiple-choice test on general aptitude and design concepts, can be taken between March 31 and April 5, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be announced on April 14, 2025, and selected students will upload portfolios and attend online interviews from May 2 to May 12, 2025. The application process is entirely online at https://www.bitsdesign.edu.in.
The school collaborates with international institutions like Aalto University, Arizona State University, and RMIT University for curriculum development, research, and student exchange.
