Saturday School Activities
A new schedule has been introduced for Saturday school activities, which will run throughout the day for Classes 1 to 8, following the Bagless Safe Saturday approach. Teaching will continue until the lunch break in secondary and higher secondary schools. After recess, activities such as Bal Sabha (children’s parliament/assembly), sports, creative workshops, and parent-teacher meetings will be held monthly. In months that include a fifth Saturday, cultural programs will be organized, showcasing student-made materials and activities from previous weeks. Teachers will evaluate and assess these projects.
Compliance Across Schools
This model timetable will be followed not only by general schools but also by institutions under the Sanskrit Board and Government Urdu schools.
Seating Arrangements for Students
Class teachers are required to seat weaker students in the front rows. If there are no weaker students, other students can be placed in these rows. Additionally, boys and girls must sit together in every class or section, with no separate classes or sections for them.
Responsibility of Headmasters/Principals
Headmasters and principals are responsible for creating the daily routine based on teacher availability and ensuring that the prescribed curriculum is completed.
Daily Homework and Inspection
Each teacher is expected to assign homework daily and review it the next day. The headmaster or principal will also oversee the cleanliness of the school premises, ensuring classrooms, kitchens, and toilets are inspected and hygiene is maintained.
