Bihar Board 12th Result 2025: The Bihar Board class 12 or inter result 2025 will be declared on March 27, 2025 (Thursday) at 10 am. All the updates related to Bihar Board Result 2025 can be checked on the official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. The Bihar Board Result 2025 can also be checked on results.biharboardonline.com, once out. About 13 lakh students who appeared for the Bihar Board 12th examination are now awaiting the scorecards.
For the last few years, the Bihar Board has been the first to release the results among state and central boards. This year too, BSEB is set to follow the same path. The Bihar Board Intermediate examination was held between February 1 to 15, 2025.
Before declaring the toppers list, BSEB conducts a verification process. The toppers are called to the BSEB office in Patna for verification. During this process, the handwriting of the answer sheets of the toppers is compared with their current handwriting. This ensures that the answer sheets are written by them. Besides, the toppers of every stream are given IQ tests and oral exams. In this, subject experts ask questions from students from their respective subjects. This evaluates their depth of knowledge and understanding. In some cases a small written exam is also taken. This helps in evaluating the student’s understanding and skills related to the subject.
The schedule of the compartment examination will be released after the Bihar Board 12th result. Students who fail in one or more subjects in the inter examination can appear for the compartment examination. It is necessary to pass the compartment examination to get the Class 12 qualifying certificate otherwise the student will have to repeat a year.
In the year 2024, the total pass percentage of Bihar Board Inter was 87.21% in all streams. A total of 87.80% of the candidates who took the exam in the science stream, cleared it. The Arts stream pass percentage stood at 86.15%, the Commerce stream pass rate was 94.88% and for the Vocational stream, it was 85.38%.
Last year, the Science stream topper was Mrutyunjay Kumar who scored 96.20% or 481 marks. In the Commerce stream, the topper was Tushar Kumar who secured 96.40% or 482 marks. The Arts stream topper was Priya Kumari with 95.60% or 478 marks.
