Women’s ethnic wear and lifestyle brand Biba had opened two new stores, one in Chandigarh and one in Pune. The brand has bolstered its pre-existing retail presence in both cities as it continues to expand its brick-and-mortar presence across India.
Biba’s new exclusive brand outlet in Chandigarh is now open at Sector 35, the brand announced on Facebook on June 11. The new outlet houses Biba’s full range of ethnic, lounge, and occasion wear as well as its accessories, girl’s wear, handbags, and office wear among other products.
The brand shared a video of influencer RJ Shonali looking around the new store and trying looks from Biba’s new summer line. “Come explore the best of our collections as we keep on updating it,” announced Biba on Facebook about the new store. “Grab your best outfit from the store or visit biba.in for more.”
Biba also opened a new store in Pune at Tilak Nagar. The store was inaugurated by influencer Tejaswini Pandit who wore a voluminous occasion wear look and took photos with other guests. The store opening also featured refreshments, a beauty bar, and selfie station.
Biba has opened numerous brick-and-mortar stores so far this year in Gurgaon, Raipur, Dehradun, Agra, and Noida. The brand also plans to launch an initial public offering in the near future which will constitute a fresh issue of equity shares amounting to Rs 90 crore and an offer for sale of 2.7 crore equity shares, Angel One reported.
