Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the second film in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, not only turned out to be a surprise success but also one of the biggest hits of 2022. Hence, there were major expectations from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, both in terms of content and box office. It seems that the film has won over both the aspects. The is seen in its opening, which has turned out to be a mammoth Rs. 36.60 crores, despite clashing with the big multi-starrer Singham Again.
The opening day number is also the highest for the film’s lead actor Kartik Aaryan by a large margin. His previous best was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the second film in the same franchise, which had opened at Rs. 14.11 crores. The huge difference between the opening day numbers of both the films speak a lot about how impressive Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has opened.
The third film in Kartik’s highest openers is Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal with Rs. 12 crores. This is followed by his last year’s successful venture Satyaprem Ki Katha (Rs. 9.25 crores) and the comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh (Rs. 9.10 crores).
Kartik’s highest grosser till date is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Rs. 185.92 crores. Considering the opening day number of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, it seems the film will easily surpass that figure.
