Bellavita, India’s leading beauty and personal care brand is looking at premiumisation of its perfumes with its new campaign featuring former WWE wrestler Dalip Singh better known as The Great Khali alongside actor Abhishek Banerjee.

With this advertising campaign, the brand aims to reposition perfumes as a luxurious upgrade to deodorants.

Through this campaign which has a tagline, ‘Deo bachche lagate hai’ (deos are used by kids), Bellavita is looking to further solidify its position as a leading player in the Indian fragrance market.

Commenting on the campaign, Lovkesh Kapoor, CEO of Guardian Group (parent firm of Bellavita) in a statement said, “We observed from consumer conversations that the Indian fragrance market is fast transforming, with preferences moving away from deodorants in favour of perfumes, reflecting global trends. This narrative formed the key message for our film.”

Aakash Anand, founder of Bellavita added, “We take pride іn crafting scents that not only evoke emotions but also fit seamlessly into our customers’ lifestyles. With love from customers across all groups, we hope this ad spreads our message even further. Our mission is simple: we want India to always smell its best.”

Founder 2018 as a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, Bellavita claims to have sold over 1 million bottles in the past two years.
