The Assam State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) Commission has commended the application process for Assam SLET 2025 for candidates aspiring to become assistant professors in colleges across Assam and northeastern states. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website – sletne.org from December 1, 2024, to January 15, 2025. The last date for payment of fees is January 31, 2025. The test aims to select candidates for assistant professor roles in universities and colleges.

Assam SLET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Assam SLET 2025, candidates must have aMaster’sdegree (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks for General, Unreserved, and General-EWS categories. For OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, ST, and PWD candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required. Final-year Masters students can also apply, provided they complete the exam before the result declaration.
Assam SLET 2025: Application Fee Details
General candidates: Rs 1200
OBC (non-creamy layer) and General (EWS): Rs 1050
SC/ST candidates: Rs 1000
PWD candidates: Rs 800
Candidates can make the payment through online methods such as Net Banking, debit/credit cards, UPI, or wallets. They may also choose to pay via bank challan at the State Bank of India after generating it through the online application process. Additionally, there might be processing fees for the transaction.
