The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2025 is set to be held on April 30, 2025. The application process has begun and will remain open till April 15, 2025. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website, polycetap.nic.in.

To apply for the exam, candidates will need to upload their passport size photograph and Aadhar card details on the registration form. The hall tickets will be available one week before the exam date.

AP POLYCET 2025: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must have secured a minimum of 35 per cent marks in their class 10 or SSC examination from a recognised board. APOSS and NIOS students must have studied Mathematics, Science, Social/Computers in class 12 and passed all subjects with a minimum of 35 per cent in each subject. The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training has not set any age limit for the AP POLYCET exam.

AP POLYCET 2025: How To Apply?

Step 1: Go to the official AP POLYCET website at polycetap.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, select the “Online application” tab.

Step 3: Register and complete the application.

Step 4: Upload all necessary documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the completed application form.

Step 6: Download and print the application.

AP POLYCET 2025: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to general and backward class categories must pay an application cost of Rs 400, while SC and ST applicants will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 100.

AP POLYCET 2025: Exam Pattern

Candidates seeking admission in engineering, non-engineering, and technology diploma courses in the state are required to register to appear in the entrance exam. The exam format includes 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering mathematics (50 questions), physics (40 questions), and chemistry (30 questions). Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking. The two-hour exam will feature questions from the SSC 2024- 25 syllabus. AP POLYCET-2025 will be conducted at nearly 500 examination centres across 69 towns/cities in all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
