Candidates who cleared the exam can apply for AP LAWCET counselling on the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The last date to register is October 20.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has begun the counselling process for the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) 2024 today, October 16. Candidates who cleared the exam can apply for counselling on the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The last date to register is October 20.

Applicants should keep in mind that they need to submit all the necessary documents for verification, during the counselling process. The counselling round comprises multiple stages, including the filing of web options and document verification. The registration fees for the counselling for OC and BC category candidates is Rs 1000, and Rs 500 for those belonging to SC, ST, and PH categories.

As per the official schedule, the online certificate verification process will be done between October 17 and 21. Candidates can complete the web entry options and college preferences between October 22 and 25, 2024. The AP LAWCET 2024 phase 1 counselling seat allotment result will be released on October 28. Following this, those who make it to the list will have to report to the designated colleges between October 29 and 30 for further document verification.

AP LAWCET Counselling 2024: Steps to Apply

Step 1: Go to APSCHE’s official portal at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the AP LAWCET 2024 counselling section.

Step 3: Register yourself. Fill out the form.

Step 4: Submit documents. Pay the fees.

Step 5: Take a printout of the acknowledgment form for future reference.

The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test is held for candidates seeking admission into 5-Year LL.B. / 3-Year LL.B. and Postgraduate Law programmes – LL.M. /M.L., respectively. These courses are offered by State Universities or Constituent Colleges as well as affiliated colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

This year, the AP LAWCET was held on June 9, 2024, in one shift from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. The AP LAWCET exam question paper was in both English and Telugu versions. The tentative answer key was available on June 10, while the objection window was open on June 11 and 12, 2024. The results were released on June 28.
