Many blamed Rupali Ganguly and producer Rajan Shahi for taking a biased call as she was replaced by Kundali Bhagya’s Palki aka Adrija Roy, who played Imlie in the Star Plus series. Amid several reports claiming that she was asked to quit the show unfairly, producer Rajan Shahi has decided to react to it.

What Rajan Shahi said about the exit of Alisha Parveen from Anupama
In a recent podcast on the Ashoke Pandit’s Show on YouTube, Rajan Shahi was asked about actors quitting his shows to which he insisted, “Nobody is above the show”. He firmly asserted that his decision to replace actors has been an unbiased call taken solely on the basis of business. He also mentioned that he wouldn’t want actors to misbehave on the sets of his show. Furthermore, in the same podcast, he revealed that how he asked an actor to leave from the Rupali Ganguly show without divulging the name. “Recently, I asked another actor to leave from Anupamaa. I don’t want to talk about it more because I want to preserve the actor’s respect and dignity,” he said.

Let us remind you that the leads of the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, who played Armaan Poddar and Ruhi Birla, were replaced overnight too as Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani took over the characters. Recalling the decision, he mentioned, “I have removed two lead actors of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Three months of investment. The actress was groomed. But it is too much out in the media, so I don’t want to talk about it more.”
