Actor and motorsport enthusiast Ajith Kumar showcased incredible resilience and skill by securing the third spot in the 991 category at the prestigious Dubai 24H Race, held on January 7. The achievement comes despite a crash during a practice session earlier in the week, which initially led him to consider stepping back from the event.

Ajith’s team, Ajith Kumar Racing, revealed in a statement that the actor had experienced a brake failure during preparations, prompting discussions about his participation. “After careful reflection, Mr. Ajith Kumar made the difficult but selfless decision to step back from driving,” the statement read. However, Ajith’s unwavering passion for motorsport saw him return to the track, earning not only a podium finish but also the “Spirit of the Race” award in the GT4 category.

Actor R Madhavan, who was present at the event, shared glimpses of the excitement on social media. In a video posted on Instagram, Ajith is seen engaging with fans, while Madhavan playfully lauded him, calling him a “trickster.” Madhavan later posted a tribute, writing, “So so proud… what a man. The one and only, Ajith Kumar.”
