AISSEE 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025. Parents of students who applied for admission to classes 6 and 9 across Sainik Schools can visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE to make the necessary changes to their registration form. They will need to log in using their application number and password to edit the form online.

The last date to correct the particulars is January 28, 2025. “A candidate can make changes in his/her application form in prescribed time and during correction window. Thereafter, no change will be allowed,” states the official notice.

Sainik School 2025 Admission: How To Edit Application Form?

Step 1: Visit the official website of AISSEE – exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the candidate login link

Step 3: Enter the login required details such as application number and password

Step 4: Make the necessary changes to the application form

Step 5: Pay the fee and submit. Download and take a print out of the confirmation page for further use.

Admission to Sainik Schools will require a written exam held in 190 cities nationwide, featuring multiple-choice questions. For class 6 admission, the exam will last 150 minutes and be worth 300 marks, covering language, mathematics, intelligence, and general knowledge. For class 9 admission, the exam will be 180 minutes long and worth 400 marks, with questions on mathematics, intelligence, English, general knowledge, and social science.

“Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All-India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). The admission of candidates will be carried out on the basis of e-counselling as per rank secured by the candidates in the Merit List of AISSEE-2025, medical fitness approved by competent medical authorities and verification of original documents,” states the official information brochure. To pass, students must score at least 25 per cent in each section and a minimum of 40 per cent overall.
