As Holi and Good Friday align just a few days apart in March, Indian travellers are gearing up for an extended break, according to insights from digital travel platform Agoda. Analysing search data, Agoda found Dubai to be the top international destination, while Goa emerged as the most sought-after domestic destination for the upcoming holidays.

With Holi falling on Monday, March 25, and Good Friday on March 29, Indians have the chance to make the most of the shortened workweek and enjoy extended leisure time without exhausting their annual leave.
For international getaways, Dubai tops the list, followed by Singapore. Thailand‘s visa waiver policy has likely contributed to Bangkok and Phuket securing spots three and five, respectively, among the top destinations. Bali, Indonesia, ranks fourth as a favored international destination for the Holi and Good Friday break.

IndiGo now operates 37 weekly flights between India and Bangkok. The introduction of these flights will further bolster the airline’s international connectivity.

Mumbai follows closely, captivating travelers with its diverse street cuisine, iconic landmarks, and bustling city life.
Heading north, Udaipur, known as the ‘City of Lakes,’ attracts visitors seeking a tranquil retreat amidst historical marvels. Meanwhile, Delhi NCR and Jaipur emerge as popular destinations, renowned for their bustling markets, lively streets, and architectural wonders, catering to travelers seeking a blend of urban excitement and cultural immersion.
