Myntra reports strong increase in travel related sales and quick commerce uptake


Flipkart’s fashion arm Myntra has seen strong sales growth in holiday related product categories, driven by consumers in non-metro locations. The e-commerce platform has also seen demand fuelled by its quick commerce offering M-Now.

“The current travel and vacation season is driving strong, multi-category growth on Myntra, with customers across the country- especially from non-metros- shopping for everything from stylish luggage and on-the-go beauty essentials to breezy vacation fashion,” said Myntra’s senior director of category management Neha Wali, ET Online reported. “Our quick commerce offering, M-Now, is playing a pivotal role in meeting last minute needs, witnessing sharp spikes in demand for trolley bags, sunglasses, and beauty products.”

Myntra reported a nearly five-fold increase in orders of trolley bags from March to April 2025, compared to January to February 2025, ET Retail reported. The business also saw demand for backpacks double over the same time period and demand for sunglasses rose by 29 times. 

M-Now, which offers quick commerce deliveries in 30 minutes in select metro locations, features a curated selection of goods from Myntra’s wider e-commerce selection, according to its app. Beauty brands including Maybelline, Minimalist, Lakmē, and L’Oreal have proven popular on M-Now with strong demand for products ranging from shampoos and skincare to fragrances and lipsticks.
