DLF to launch new malls in Delhi, Gurugram

Real estate company DLF will open new shopping malls across Delhi and Gurugram, along with its upcoming Goa mall, in the 2026 financial year. The launches will add close to 14 lakh square feet to DLF’s retail portfolio as the business foresees continued organised retail growth in India.

“We are going to open three retail properties this financial year,” Pushpa Bector, senior executive director and business head at DLF Retail, told the Press Trust of India. News of DLF’s upcoming Goa mall broke earlier in the month.

In the national capital region, the business will launch ‘DLF Midtown Plaza’ in Moti Nagar in the coming months, offering more than two lakh square feet of retail space. According to Bector, around 75% 80% of the area has already been leased or is in the final stages of being rented out.

Later in the year, DLF plans to open ‘DLF Summit Plaza’ in Gurugram, a 4.8 lakh square feet development comprising over four lakh square feet of retail space with the remainder dedicated to coworking. Both centres are located near DLF’s residential developments and are designed to serve local communities.

A third shopping mall in Goa is scheduled to open early next year, measuring seven lakh square feet and it is expected to be the state’s largest retail centre. DLF is also working on a larger 25 lakh square feet shopping mall project in Gurugram as part of its broader annuity business, India Retailing reported.
