WWE fans have been treated to some mesmerising entrances in the promotion’s history with the spectacle put on by the stars when introducing themselves initiating proceedings more often than not.

The WWE Universe has witnessed several blockbuster appearances at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. In the 40-year history of the Stamford-based company’s flagship annual event, millions of fans have seen their favourite WWE wrestler march to the ring for a battle. One could argue that the spectacle put on by these professional stars when introducing themselves often trumps that of other combat sports. Whether it is The Undertaker’s ‘Dead Man’ look at WrestleMania 14 or Roman Reigns’ God Mode theme at WrestleMania 39, WWE fans have been treated to some mesmerising entrances in the promotion’s history.
Shawn Michaels Ziplines Down – WrestleMania 12
One of WWE’s biggest legends, Shawn Michaels, stole the show with his blockbuster entrance at WrestleMania XII. The Heartbreak Kid ziplined down from the top of Arrowhead Pond into the WWE Universe before facing Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart in an Iron Man match.
The Undertaker’s Haunting Path – WrestleMania 14
WrestleMania 25 epitomised why The Undertaker was the greatest character WWE created. Before taking on Kane for the first time, the Phenom arrived with his eerie ‘Rest in Peace’ playing in the background. He was draped in his Ministry black coat, walking out as the Prince of Darkness.
Triple H’ Donning Terminator Armour – WrestleMania 30
Triple H made a memorable entrance at WrestleMania 31 before his No-Disqualification match with Sting. Flanked by Terminator robots, Triple H arrived at the venue in style before beating the WCW and TNA legend.
Hulk Hogan’s Hulkamania Takeover – WrestleMania 7
One of WWE’s earliest megastars, Hulk Hogan, performed a memorable entrance at WrestleMania 7. The Hulkster strode to the ring, waving an American flag in front of over 16,000 fans.
The Stone Cold Hailstorm – WrestleMania 17
The Attitude Era in the WWE peaked with Stone Cold Steve Austin at the company’s helm. The Texas Rattlesnake made a jaw-dropping entrance in front of nearly 70,000 fans at the Reliant Astrodome in Houston during WrestleMania 17. He walked to the heavy metal sound of Disturbed’s remix of his theme.
Army Of John Cena – WrestleMania 25
Before taking on Triple H at WrestleMania 25, an army of John Cenas led the real leader of the Cenation. Moments later, Cena walked out to the arena while the other lookalikes performed his famous ‘You Can’t See Me’ gesture.
Charlotte Flair’s Royal March – WrestleMania 35
The Queen Charlotte Flair participated in the first-ever Women’s WrestleMania main event in 2019. She emerged in front of the fans in a glistening gown, placed upon her by multiple attendants.
Roman Reigns’ God Mode – WrestleMania 39
Before facing Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns walked out to a musical group performing his ‘Head of the Table’ theme on pianos at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
Rusev’s T-55 Tank Madness – WrestleMania 31
Rusev was one of WWE’s leading superstars over a decade ago. The powerhouse steered a T-55 tank at WrestleMania 31 in homage to his Russian gimmick. He next stood on the tank before waving the Russian flag in front of thousands.
Shinsuke Nakamura, The Rising Sun – WrestleMania 34
The list cannot be complete without Shinsuke Nakamura’s show-stopping entry at WrestleMania 34. As he walked out, violinists played Nakamura’s theme on either side of the ramp.
