GATE 2025 Answer Key: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16. The provisional answer keys are expected to be released soon. The GATE 2025 answer keys, along with the questions asked in the exam and candidates’ recorded responses, will be available on gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

The GATE 2025 answer key will contain important details such as the exam name, organising institute, paper code, exam date and shift, question numbers, correct options, question types (MCQ, MSQ, NAT) and officially correct answers.

Candidates can use the GATE 2025 response sheet to estimate their expected scores. If they find any errors in the answer key, they can raise objections within the given time. Experts will review the objections, and the final answer key will be released after evaluation.

How To Download GATE 2025 Answer Key?

Once released, candidates can download the GATE answer key by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the GATE 2025 answer key download link on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page will open, now your login details and submit.

Step 4: The answer key will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Check and download it.

The GATE 2025 result will be announced on March 16. IIT Roorkee conducted the exam for 30 test papers. The exam took place in two shifts- 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

According to the official notification, candidates could choose from 30 subjects and were allowed to apply for a maximum of two test papers, but only from the available combinations listed on the official website.

Based on past cut-off trends, 826,239 candidates registered for the GATE exam last year, out of which 653,292 appeared. The previous year’s cut-off scores were:

  • Aerospace Engineering – 33.3
  • Computer Science and IT – 27.6
  • Chemistry – 25.2
  • Electrical Engineering – 25.7
  • Mathematics – 25
