Toyota Innova Hycross price, comfort and mileage vs Innova Crysta, best city MPV

The Innova Crysta is more affordable, but the Hycross is a lot more fuel efficient.

I reside in Bengaluru and currently own a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz AT. Ours is a big family – four adults and two kids – and I am planning to upgrade to an MPV that can seat all comfortably. Which MPV would you recommend for a budget of Rs 30 lakh? I am a big fan of the Innova, but the current Crysta doesn’t have an AT model; I prefer an AT in the chaotic Bengaluru traffic.

Autocar India says: You could consider the Innova Hycross Hybrid, which would absolutely suit your needs. The hybrid powertrain will make city driving less painful in Bengaluru traffic, especially in stop-and-go conditions where it will mostly run in pure-EV mode. Plus, the Hycross is more comfortable and spacious than the Crysta, and the boot is bigger, too. It may be above your budget, but we think it’s well worth the stretch.
