The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the application window for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 today, February 21, 2025. Previously the deadline was February 18, 2025 which has been extended. Eligible candidates who have yet not submitted their forms can complete their application on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
The correction window for the exam forms will open on February 22, 2025, and close on February 28, 2025. The Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) and Civil Services (Preliminary) examination is scheduled to be held on March 25, 2025. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 979 posts for UPSC CSE and 150 posts for UPSC IFS.

Step 1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2. On the homepage, navigate to the link for the “examination notifications” and click on apply online for the IFS or CSE exam based on your interest.
Step 3. You will be directed to a new portal, where you can register yourself by entering the required details.
Step 5. Log in to your account and fill out the application form by entering required the details as guided by the window.
Step 6. Submit the form and keep a copy of the form saved for future reference.
