Generation Speed 2025, the inaugural edition of a new motoring festival, is set to take place this weekend (February 22 and 23) at the Aamby Valley Air Strip near Pune. It is being organised by Seventy EMG, the same company that organises India Bike Week. Generation Speed 2025 will have a variety of car displays, opportunities to participate in various motorsport events and even meet some of India’s motorsport greats.

The official Generation Speed website has listed tickets for the two-day festival, with packages ranging between Rs 1,495 and Rs 6,995. There is a separate tab for those who would like to participate in the various motorsport events, like the GS Time Attack autocross atop a two-wheeler or the four-wheeler drifting competition. There is also another section for those who would like to book an experience event, such as a camping experience, ride-alongs in drift and race cars, or taking an off-roading class in a Defender.
What are the timings for Generation Speed 2025?
February 22 (Saturday): 2pm to 10pm
February 23 (Sunday): 11am to 9pm
On February 22, the venue will be open to the public from 2pm onwards and will shut at 10pm, after the last event of the day. On February 23, events are held from 11am to 9pm.
What events can I participate in at Generation Speed 2025?
There are two-wheeler and four-wheeler motorsport events
As mentioned above, those who want to participate in the various motorsport events will have to register on the website. Among the events is a GS Drift Championship – in collaboration with Drift Home Dubai with the top 5 set to win a Moto Clinic at Red Bull’s Moto Jam in Chennai – an FMSCI Autocross Championship across categories (two- and four-wheel). Then there’s JCB Games with diggers, timed laps on the Speedway and remote-controlled car racing.
There are experiential events that should be booked in advance as well (due to availability of slots) that include drift and rally taxi rides, go-karting, dirt karting, ATV drives, an off-road experience in a Land Rover Defender, and lots more. One can also book their slots for a variety of adventure activities like paramotoring, rock climbing, camping, paintball and ropewalking.
Who are the famous people at Generation Speed 2025?
Rohit Isaac and the Hero Motorsports team, Dakar hero Sanjay Takale, karting champ Vicky Chandhok, journalists Adil Darukhanawala and Aspi Bathena, and a number of eminent motorsport and automobile personalities will be at Generation Speed 2025. Event goers will be able to interact with, listen to their stories and ask for their expertise.
What else is planned for Generation Speed 2025?
The Main Stage will host some announcements from the motorsports community. Sportec’s Drift Baleno will be unveiled, there will be info about the Indian Supercross Racing League Season 2, the 19th Edition of The Palar River Challenge, the FMSCI Indian National Rally Sprint Champion 2025, and the Clash of Motoclans Season 2. Royal Enfield will showcase the Guerilla 450 in a new colour.
